报告摘要：

We prove that the uniform spanningforest associated with the biased random walk on d-dimensional integer latticehas finitely many trees if and only if d<4; which is a novel phasetransition phenomenon. The talk is based on a joint work with VladasSidoravicius (NYU-Shanghai), Zhan Shi (Paris VI Univ.), He Song（宋贺，泰州学院）and Longmin Wang（王龙敏，南开大学）。

报告人简介：

向开南，南开大学教授、博士生导师，硕士阶段师从北京师大王梓坤院士、李占柄教授，博士师从于中科院应用数学所马志明院士，曾在北京大学做钱敏平教授的博士后，历时7年解决了关于超布朗运动的清晰Schilder型定理的longstanding猜想，以独立作者发表了中国大陆概率论学者在顶级数学期刊Comm. Pure Appl. Math.上的第一篇论文；是科学网（www.sciencenet.cn）的博客写手（blog.sciencenet.cn/u/MinGong1），多篇博文上了当时科学网的头版头条。
